With the help of oil and gas resources, the people of Brunei Darussalam enjoy one of the highest standards of living in the world.  This pavilion exhibited its country's wealth with a series of cultural and technological displays.

The city of Bandar Seri Begawan began, and to some extent, remains on the water.  The main exhibit area showcased the city's canal and transportation system of traditional water taxis beside modern transit routes that have developed in recent years.

Cultural exhibits stressed that live in Brunei Darussalam is uniquely traditional despite the influx of modernization.
