From the world's fastest train to the Concorde, the France Pavilion displayed many transportation achievements.
Visitors entered the pavilion via. a people mover. Situated on an elevated track, each six-seat glass compartment offered a bird's eye view of the Green Zone.
Inside, realistic and fanciful visions of future transportation modes were exhibited with life-size models. These included interesting plans to revitalize Paris' Metro and the visions of Science-fiction author Jules Verne. An exhibit of the French observation satellite SPOT and its photographs of Vancouver gave a view of the city from space.
