Italy's long history was well represented in this pavilion.  Exhibits told of how, Marco Polo, Christopher Columbus, Amerigo Vespucci, and Giovanni Caboto shaped the map of the modern world.

But the Italy pavilion was more for the science wizard and the car lover.  Italy's latest robotics and flashiest automobiles were showcased for those in love of innovative technologies, glitz, power and speed.
