Spain

Situated in the European Plaza, the Spain Pavilion reflected its history as the first modern state and a pioneer in the fields of transportation and communications.

The exhibit area contained a priceless painting by Goya, an original Gyrocoper built in 1926, a 1906 Hispano Suiza car, and original maps of the first Spanish expeditions to British Columbia.

Also, the plans for Seville's 1992 Universal Exposition were unveiled.
