Plaza of Nations
The glass covered Plaza was part of the British Columbia pavilion complex and accommodated up to 5000 spectators. This was where people gathered for formal ceremonies, National Days (for international participants) and Special Days (for provinces, territories, states, organizations and corporations).
With a record breaking number of International, provincial, state, and corporate participants ever to unite for one fair, the Plaza of Nations was booked solid with ceremonies.
Today, the Plaza of Nations
/ BC Place is home to several of Vancouver's most popular festivals.
