The Unicorn Pub
"There were green alligators and long necked geese, some humpy-back camels and some chimpanzee..."
No self respecting Vancouverite would consider a summer visiting Expo '86 complete without at least one trip to the Unicorn Pub. Sponsored by one of Vancouver's most respected folk bands -- The Irish Rovers -- the Unicorn was definitely the pub of choice for the hometowner.
Known for "The Unicorn
Song" and a current hit at the time "Wasn't That a Party" the Irish Rovers
performed often, but mostly in the early months of the fair.
