Here you'll find submissions from the public who are looking for people they met at Expo 86.  Hopefully this section will get long lost friends together.

Last names and emails will not be posted unless permission is granted.

If you have a long lost Expo friend, feel free to submit the story via email scruffy69@hotmail.com
A beautiful girl from NANAIMO and I met at Expo 86.

Is it you?

We spent much of the day hanging out and riding on rides. It was fun. I took a few pictures, even some of you.

I gave you my contact info, and we said Goodbye.

Sadly, she didn't contact me in the USA. And I really didn't have a way to contact her.

And, strangely enough, neither my friend Barry nor I can recall her name!

If she ever visits this Web page, maybe she can remember the time we spent, and email me to say Hi.

To narrow the possibilities:
+ A woman she was with THOUGHT that we or I had fallen in love at first site. (Not exactly the case.)
+ People in her family were, I think, "Jehovah Witnesses" / "Jehovah's Witnesses".

Sorry that we never got in touch, dear lady! No hard feelings, though. But, WRITE ME today to say Hi!

Thanks!  :)

I was a young Seaman in the US Navy aboard the USS Benjamin Stoddert (DDG-22).  I had a major medical emergency the 3rd day of our visit to the EXPO.  A nice young woman helped me back to my ship where I received emergency surgery.  When I was stabilized I learned that she left.  I was wondering if there is anyway of finding her?

The only things I remember about her is that her name was Bobbie and she worked at the Canadian TV Station in Vancouver.

Any help would be great.

Take care,

Mike
