THEME: Transporation and Communication.

Expo 86 was all about movement -- the movement of people, and the movement of ideas. The symbol for Expo 86 was comprised of three interlocking circles which represented the three forms of transportation, namely land, air and water.  The line stretching up and outword symbolized the human race forever striving for excellence.

Listed in the Transportation section of this site are some of the modes of transportation availabe free to the public.

For fear of taking away too much business from the Pacific National Exhibition, Expo 86 did not host a midway.  However, there were a few rides based on the most popular attractions from past World's Fairs.
