CORPORATE AND THEME EXHIBITS
There was a warm, intimate atmosphere throughout the Folklife exhibit. For those trying to escape the ratrace, the scent of freshly constructed cedar buildings was a wonderful escape from the concrete and ashphault. The boardwalks and the grassy village common was reminescent of and era long past.
Devoted to the living tradition of Canada's native and settler cultures, Folklife came alive with more than 25 daily performances from Newfoundland fiddlers to Native dance troupes. Among the performance areas, arts, crafts and food were readily available.
