XEROX INTERNATIONAL THEATRE

The 1500 seat Xerox International Theatre showcased talent from around the world. Inuit throat singers and an industrial rock group from Germany are examples of the musical diversity offered. A theatrical presintation about a romance that is sparked between an executive and a sasquatch was a sleeper hit which ran for several months during the fair.

One of the most beautiful events that took place in the theatre was the traditional Shinto ceremony.  Over the run of the fair, six couples were married in this way at Expo 86 and it was the first time in history the Shinto ceremony was performed outside of Japan.
